Assalam alaikum wr wb
Is there anyone who can tell me where to install outlook express 5.0 to help me write with Arabic letters, I remember when I asked the brothers and sisters in another discussion board two years ago to help me with same problem and some one guid me to out look express 5.0 and it workes.
unfortunely ilost that program and I want to unstall again ,but can't find it at the microsoft website. Any suggestion ?

للكتابة بالعربية اخي الفاضل اولاً
install Internet Explorer 6

ثم اذهب الى
control panel
add remove programs

واختار الانترنت اكسبلورر 6 واضغط على remove وسيسألك هل تريد مسحه ام تعديله ام الاضافة له. اختار الاضافة (add componenet) ثم قم باختيار من القائمة التي ستظهر لك (arabic text support) ثم تذهب الى keyboard في لوحة control panel وتعمل اضافة للعربية وبذلك يمكنك الكتابة في الانترنت والوورد والمسنجر. للأسف هذه الطريقة لا تعمل مع كل البرامج مثل الفوتوشوب لكن تعمل في الانترنت :)

واذا كان هذا الحل لا يعمل فيمكنك تنزيل برنامج خاص تكتب فيه لكن لا يعمل الا في الانترنت والمنتديات. :rolleyes:

Thank for your quick responce, I have tried to do what you said , as I have already installed internet explorer 6, so when I went to add/remove programs and I clicked on IW 6 ,then chose to add components, the computer asked me to enter the Cd that I used to download the IE 6 from it , but as you know I have downloaded it from the microsoft website . So what I am going to do next ? do you have an idea? Jazaki allahu khairan

اختي الغالية.... لما تحاولي عمل ال add/remove هل تكوني على الانترنت ساعتها؟؟؟ واي نوع من الويندوز عندك على الجهاز؟؟؟

وهل هناك اي خيار اخر يعطيكِ اياه الجهاز عندما يسألك لوضع الCD؟؟؟؟

Now Iman I have windows 98, yes I was on line when I tried to do what you said ( you are my teacher now;).......
And the computer did not give me any other choice , it just asked me to insert the CD.
maybe this feature does not work with win98.
So what Iam going to do now , I want to write in Arabic.

Dear sister I know to write in Arabic in the word I need to install win. Arabic version . so I need to write with Arabic in the mail and internet only.
It seems that you are returning to write again in the dis. board because of my insistence . sorry for the disterbance that I have may caused to yuo.thaks for ur respond.
