Some comedy events happened to real people "I read it from Reader's Digest magazine and I'd like to share it with you"

I had to laugh when I first heard the greeting on my son's answering machine at the West Verginia University:
"Hi ,This is Rick. If you are someone from the phone company ,I've already sent the money. If this is one of my parents, please send money. If it's my financial institution, you didn't lend me enough money. If you're a friend, you owe me money. If you are a female … I have plenty of money!"


[color=black]while I was a clerk in a store, a regular customer came to my counter and started writing a check for her purchases.
"This is the last check you'll see of mine with the name Olsen" she announced happily." My new checks will have the name Harrington"
"My congratulations to the lucky man!" I replied.
In a less cheerful voice, she said "Harrington is my maiden name . I'm getting a divorce"[/COLOR]


After finishing college, I was planning the ultimate graduation party. Eager for the perfection, I decided to customize the invitations, and I spent hours reading and rereading my final draft. When my brother walked through the door, I asked him to take a look. To my dismay he didn't make it past two words :"your invited"!
Puzzled he looked at me and asked, "are you sure you're graduating?"
