بيان توضيحي

حزب التحرير / أستراليا

لمّا كان العالم على موعد قريب - بإذن الله - مع بزوغ فجر الخلافة الإسلامية التي ستُقيم شرع الله، وتوحّد المسلمين تحت راية التوحيد، وتردّ الهجمة الغربية الإستعمارية على الإسلام والمسلمين، وتحرر بلادهم، وتحمل الإسلام رسالة هدى ونور للبشريّة. (إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا، وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا) صدق الله العظيم.

ولمّا كثرت الأسئلة من أبناء الجالية هنا عن الخلافة الإسلامية وما يتعلق بها، قرّرنا عقد "مؤتمر الخلافة الإسلامية" في سيدني يوم 27/1/2007، حيث يحاضر في هذا المؤتمر نخبة من المحاضرين من داخل استراليا وخارجها، يُسلّطون فيه الضوء على الخلافة الإسلامية من حيث وجوبها شرعاً، وواقعها ماضياً، واَثار هدمها الكارثيّة على الأُمة الإسلامية، وأين وصل العمل لإعادتها اليوم، واَفاق المستقبل والتحديات التي قد تواجهها.

وقد وقع الإختيار على بلدية بانكستاون لعقد المؤتمر في قاعاتها، فتقدمنا بطلب لحجز القاعة الكبرى والتي تتسع لأكثر من ألف شخص، وقام نفس الأخ الذي كان يقوم بالحجز لمحاضراتنا السابقة وفي نفس المكان بتقديم كل الأوراق المطلوبة ووافقت البلدية ودفعنا رسوم الحجز وكان ذلك بتاريخ 30/11/2006 . بعد كل ذلك قمنا بالإعلان عن المحاضرة والدعوة إليها كما وُجّهت الدعوات الى المحاضرين من خارج استراليا.

وفي يوم الثلاثاء 9/1/2007 شنّت صحيفة الأيج (The Age) والتي تصدر في ملبورن هجوماً عنيفاً على المؤتمر والقائمين عليه، وفي اليوم التالي تتابعت وسائل الاعلام المختلفة مهاجِمةً المؤتمر وحزب التحرير ومطالِبة بمنعه. ثم قام الإِعلام وبالذات إذاعة 2GB بتحريض الناس للإحتجاج لدى بلدية بانكستاون. وكذلك فعلت صحيفة التلغراف الاسترالية، وبالفعل استجابت بلدية بانكستاون لتلك الحملة الإعلامية وقامت بإلغاء حجز القاعة وأعلنت انها لن تأذن بعقد مؤتمرنا في قاعاتها متعللة بحجج واهية كاذبة. ورغم لقائنا الشخصي معهم إلا أنهم أصروا على موقفهم.


أيها الاخوة المسلمون:

إن الحملات المتلاحقة التي عايشناها، تُظهر بما لا يدع مجالاً للشك، أن هناك قوىً حاقدة وغير مسؤولة مُصرةً على مواصلة الهجوم على الإسلام والمسلمين وإثارة الكراهية ضدهم، والدعوة الى تجريدهم من الحقوق الطبيعية التي يتمتع بها كل المواطنين في هذا البلد، غير مبالية بما قد تؤدي إليه حملات الكراهية تلك وانعكاسها على العلاقات بين أطراف المجتمع. وما تعليق الوزير الانجليكي في ملبورن مارك دوري ((Mark Durie والبيان الذي أصدره مجلس العلاقات الاسترالية / الاسرائيلية، اليهودية (Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council) إلاّ إشارة إلى بعض تلك القوى.


أيها الأخوة المسلمون:

إن الرد الطبيعي على هذه الحملات هو التمسك بحقوقنا كاملة كمواطنين، فالتعبير عن الرأي وعقد أي مؤتمر عام ومفتوح للجميع وفي وضح النهار هي من الحقوق الطبيعية لكل المواطنين، ولذلك يجب علينا جميعاً ان نستنكر محاولات كمّ افواه المسلمين وارهابهم. كما يجب علينا إظهار العزم والإصرار على التمسك بالإسلام عقيدةً وأحكاماً وقيماً، وحمل الدعوة إليه، والإنحياز الكامل لقضايا أمتنا الإسلامية، والجرأة في كشف جرائم الغرب وأمريكا في العالم الإسلامي.
سنتجاوز بإذن الله وقدرته كل العقبات، وسنعقد "مؤتمر الخلافة" بأجندته المقررة، وسنطلعكم بإذن الله على التغييرات التي حصلت على زمان ومكان إنعقاد المؤتمر.

الحملة المسعورة التي تشنها استراليا على دعوة الحزب لمؤتمر الخلافة الاول
ربما جعلت هذا المؤتمر يبدأ مبكراً

فها هي صحيفة الايج -Age تكتب مرة أخرى ضد حزب التحرير وتتناول هذه المرة دعوته
ليس في استراليا فحسب بل في العالم اجمع وفي مقال مليء بالاكاذيب والتناقضات
بحيث يمكن كشف الكذب والتناقض بتتبع نفس المقال ولمجرد مرور سريع على فقراته
أو بكبسة زر على لوحة المفاتيح

وكانت هذه الصحيفة السبب ومن خلال نشرها لمقال سابق في الغاء بلدية بانكستاون
موافقتها على عقد المؤتمر والكاتب هو المحرر الديني

واقتبست بعض الاكاذيب لردود فعل بعض المسلمين لتبين ان حزب التحرير حزب صغير
مهمش لايثير انتباه الا القليل ولاتكاد تسمي عضوين له في مدينة ملبورن ثم في الفقرة التالية
تناقض نفسها عندما تقول " الا انه موضع المراقبة الحثيثة لوكالات المخابرات "

ثم يقول " بالتأكيد فان حزب التحرير يجد في دعوته في استراليا والعالم لكسب التأييد السياسي
في اوساط الشباب لدولة الخلافة"

The internet is a good friend to fringe groups, who can disseminate their message unfiltered. That quotation comes from the online forums at Islamic Sydney, the most important website for young Australian Muslims. It is from radical group Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) promoting a conference it plans to hold next Saturday on the caliphate — an Islamic superstate

This week, following an article in The Age, the Bankstown Council in Sydney withdrew permission to hold the conference at its town hall. Mayor Tanya Mihailuk said the booking had been made under another name, and that HT had previously incited hatred. The group is used to such setbacks, and spokesman Wassim Doureihi said he was confident he would find another venue.

So who are HT, and are they dangerous? Other Muslims suggest that here, at least, HT is marginal, a small group of ineffectual fanatics vainly seeking attention.

But it is closely monitored by the intelligence agencies and some groups worry that it is a breeding ground for extremism.

Certainly HT is working hard — in Australia and around the world — to convert young Muslims to its message of political Islam and the need to establish the caliphate, a united state encompassing all Muslim lands and abolishing national borders. Doureihi says the re-establishment of the caliphate is imminent.

Overseas, HT is banned in Russia and most Middle Eastern and central Asian countries, restricted in Germany and the Netherlands, and closely watched elsewhere. It is legal in Australia but has been controversial because it opposes democracy and Muslim integration, tries to recruit young Muslims at high schools and universities, runs leafleting campaigns outside mosques, and is virulently anti-Semitic. Last year it ran a lecture entitled "Israel is an illegal state that Muslims will never accept".

The internet is one of Hizb ut-Tahrir's best platforms: the group regularly uses the Islamic Sydney forums and such sites as YouTube. In an online discussion started in 2005 but still going, it outlines its agenda to reimpose the caliphate: to draw all Muslims back to sharia and a literal interpretation of the Koran, to demonstrate Islam's superiority, then — when public opinion has been created in a city for sharia — to seek "military protection".

But HT has plenty of opposition among young Australian Muslims. Responding to the quotation that began this article, one online contributor wrote: "It's best if HT didn't pretend they represented all Muslims 'cos I (like many others) don't agree with such statements. HT's strongest opponents won't be 'secular' Western governments but many Muslims themselves who have lived under colonisation, tyranny, oppression, literalism, war and poverty."

The most savage put-down came on the topic of wearing the hijab. "I am not going to allow this topic to be hijacked by the little league of HT, al-Qaeda or any other crypto-fascist group. Hizb ut-Tahrir are just Muslim Zionists who want Muslims to spend all their energies establishing some kind of Muslim homeland, a kind of Islamic Israel," the poster wrote. "I urge them to keep their heads firmly in the sand. Instead, I am appealing to the vast majority of Muslims for whom HT rhetoric does not even enter their radar screen."

Busy blogger and Islamic commentator Irfan Yusuf says HT is "very ineffectual. They tend to shout very loudly, but you'd be surprised at the number of Muslims who block their ears. It's a bit like in the days of the Cold War — people used to get worried about the 1001 socialist factions that used to congregate around campuses. These guys are about as effective."

In Australia, Yusuf says, HT is focused on just a couple of families. "There are a hell of a lot of young Muslims who have never heard of the caliphate. No one's researched how much Muslims aged 15 to 30 know about Islam, especially those aspects of theology that touch on the political arena. It depends how you define the caliphate — some North American (Muslim) scholars think a democratically elected government is as good as a caliph."

Islamic Council of Victoria spokesman Waleed Aly is also dismissive. "It's not that they are an unknown quantity, they are a tiny quantity. In Australia HT are fairly benign. It's not like the UK, where they are aggressive. Their presence in Melbourne is incredibly small. I would struggle to name two."

Founded in Jerusalem in 1953, HT has often been linked with violence, including the London bombings in 2005 and the murder of a Nigerian student in London in 1995. Wassim Doureihi denies HT is violent, saying it is persecuted for its political activities. The group's political vision is of an Islamic superstate led by a spiritual ruler known as a caliph. The actual caliphate ended in 1924 when Kemal Ataturk made Turkey secular. But even before then it did not exist in the form HT espouses — an imagined golden age of unity. The Ottoman Caliph — covering Eastern Europe, Turkey and much of the Middle East — was not recognised by much of the Muslim World. At Islam's peak in the 15th century there were different dynasties ruling in Spain, Egypt, Turkey and Iran.

Sydney Islam-watcher Terry Baldwin says the history HT presents of the West and Islam is simply fantasy. "It's not just a little bit wrong, it's grossly wrong: 'Your (Western) history was violence and oppression whereas ours (Islam's) was wonderful, and if you go back to that we can solve your problems as well as ours.' " Baldwin says the Doureihi brothers, Ashraf and Wassim, seem to lead the group, "but you can never be sure of that. In many groups there are gnomes in the background who pull all the strings and control the finances."

He does worry about HT's attempts to politicise Australian Muslims, to drive a wedge between them and the wider community. Many Muslims come to Australia to escape trouble and simply want to build a better life, he says, but HT wants them involved in the politics. "They go house to house around my neighbourhood and ask: 'Do you know any Muslims in your street. We have a new mosque and we want to tell them.' Then they try to recruit them."

Other observers put it more strongly. Melbourne Anglican minister Mark Durie, author of a book comparing Islam and Christianity, wrote about the caliphate conference: "If we wake up in 10 years' time and wonder what went wrong, historians who are able to look back and analyse the rise of radical Islam in Australia will identify events such as this conference as part of the answer."

In a paper for the South Asia Analysis Group in October, B. Raman, India's former head of counter-terrorism, warned that the risk of a jihadi terrorist strike against Australia at home or in South-East Asia was medium-plus to high. He said the main threat came from Jemaah Islamiyah or Lashkar-e-Taiba, then named HT. "A third organisation, which has been extending its clandestine presence to S.E. Asia and Australia is the Hizb ut-Tahrir, which has the same political objective, but it ostensibly shuns violence," he wrote.

Ganesh Sahathevan, a Sydney-based expert on terrorism and finance, says the political Islam espoused by HT and others is the real danger to national security. "Terrorism is only a manifestation of the objective of political Islam," he says. Sahathevan says many Muslims who dismiss HT actually share the agenda, and the belief that any obstruction to the spread of Islam justifies violent jihad. "HT is part of an international organisation, they promote political Islam, and have made it very clear they are being frustrated by the Australian Government and wider community — and that's justification for jihad."

Writing in the Terrorism Monitor last month, James Brandon wrote that HT is increasingly popular in the Middle East, partly because of its organised and media-savvy leadership, partly through dissatisfaction with other political groups, and partly because so many Arabs are uneasy about the willingness of such groups to kill innocent Muslims during anti-Western operations. In Britain, Prime Minister Tony Blair tried to have HT banned, but was warned that would simply increase its appeal. In Australia, Attorney-General Philip Ruddock found that he did not have sufficient grounds. Meanwhile, clearly the vast majority of Australian Muslims are unmoved by HT's message. But political Islam, with its unshakeable sense of victimhood and grievance against the West, is the soil from which the terrorists spring — and it only needs a few.

هاهي نفس الاصوات تنعق مطالبة بحظر الحزب " كما فعلت في بريطانية والمانية والدنمارك وغيرها من بلدان " الديمقراطية المثالية !!!" بعد ان سمعت رغم انفها مالم تود ان تسمعه من الحق والحجج الساطعة وخصوصاً الدعوة لاقامة الخلافة التي أصبح ذكرها يقض مضاجع الكفرة والمشركين واذنابهم في العالم كله !!!


NSW urges ban on radical Muslim group

The NSW government has urged the federal government to ban the radical Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir as hundreds of its supporters meet in Sydney on Sunday.

صحيفة الديلي تلغراف الاسترالية أوردت باستهجان بعض المقتطفات من كلمات
الشباب وبالذات الشيخ عصام عميرة حول دليل وجوب اقامة الخلافة الاسلامية من القرآن والسنة وقالت ان الدعوة للخلافة بالرغم من تطرفها ماهي الا مجرد أحلام خيالية في ظل ما نراه من جماعات اسلامية متناحرة فيما بينها مثل حماس وحزب الله وأضافت ان السماح لعقد مؤتمر بمثل هذا الشعار يدل على التعددية والحرية التي تمارسها استراليا وأضافت أن نظرة الى بلدان العالم الاسلامي وخصوصاً تلك التي تسمي نفسها اسلامية تجد ان مايعده الاسلاميون ليس الا الفقر والقهر والحرمان والحسد من مجتمع متقدم كما في اسرائيل
وتساءلت في بداية افتتاحيتها هل نحن على درجة عالية من السذاجة وعلى درجة من الوعي
السياسي لنشعر بأننا مجبرين على السماح لعقد مثل هذا المؤتمر لحزب يريد ان يجز أعناقنا

THE radical Islamists of Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation) who met in Lakemba to cheer speakers calling for a global Islamic state, which somehow did not include Australia, raised a number of issues.

The first is about Australia's tolerance for such a call, for, as students of the group (which is banned in a number of nations) know, an Islamic state could not possibly condone many of the freedoms basic to our society.
Another issue is just as crucial: if Australia is not among the nations to be targeted and brought under the Islamist umbrella, exactly which nations does Hizb ut-Tahrir believe need an Islamist makeover?
